Katie Hammon
Co-Founder

Katie Hammon is best known in the Capitol Region music scene for her bands Slender Shoulders and Bear Grass, as well as guest appearances with local artist Matthew Loiacono. She  graduated from The College of St. Rose, where she acted as the President of the Music Entertainment Industry Student Association and ran the St. Rose music venue, Jack’s Place. She worked at The Palace Theatre as the Director of Operations and can be seen around Albany in her work through The Albany Music Coalition

 

 

Harith Saam
Co-Founder

Harith Saam is the founder and president of The Rev Records, a five-year-old Albany-based record label. He has been organizing and promoting music events in the Capital District for almost a decade, and has served as the Music Director for Albany Poets, Inc. since 2005. He makes space noises under the moniker Republic of Fragments and slightly more elaborate space noises with the group Shoe Troupe.

 

 

 

Louis Apicello
Community Outreach Coordinator

When not serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Albany Music Coalition, Louis can be found performing with Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned, or many of the other acts within the B3nson Family. Since moving to Albany in 2009, he has worked hard to help foster the growth of the Albany music scene and to bring national attention to our area through helping run the B3nson Collective and by Co-Founding and Directing the annual Restoration Festival. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Albany Barn Project and the Friends of St. Joe’s.

 

Andria Bentley
Press Secretary

Andria Bentley is a Capital Region native, a lover of local music and an enthusiastic advocate for the Albany area generally. She is also an attorney and a communications professional.
